Sexuality and Spirituality are intermingled dynamics that are present in our selves and our church communities. But these dynamics have often encouraged a church culture of hypocrisy, shaming, abuse, and punitive disciplining of laity by autocratic leaders. Dr. West will discuss causes and consequences of these dynamics, including the role of racism, as well as some possibilities for creating an alternative.
